Today's Magazine For A Dynamic Market
PERFECT VEHICLE
For
almost 18 years(1) Australian Convenience Store News has
been the stand-out market leader in the convenience
store industry. Now, with expanded coverage of the FMCG- based
route and convenience market, you have the perfect vehicle to drive
your advertising message through the full breadth of the route & convenience
channel.
MORE THAN CONVENIENCE
From September 2005, Australian
Convenience Store News boosts its circulation by 26% to reach
20,750 decision
makers in the route and convenience industry. This expanded circulation
includes almost ALL of the fast-moving consumer goods outlets in
the route and convenience channel(2).
SPLIT RATES BY INDUSTRY
From
September 2005, the Front Section of Australian Convenience
Store News is devoted exclusively to
convenience industry news and information. There is a separate
Forecourt Section in the latter part of the magazine for Australia’s
7,000 convenience operators who are involved in petroleum or carwash;
this section carries special rates for forecourt product advertising.
THE
MARKET
Respected industry researcher, ACNielsen, says
that branded convenience outlets comprise only one third of
the route & convenience
business. This combined channel is now approximately one quarter
the size of the entire grocery market(3). (1) The publication commenced
in January 1988 under the title “Service
Station” and later changed name.
(2) Based on industry estimates provided by BIS Schrapnel Route
Industry Survey Presentation 2002 plus the publisher’s own
data.
(3) ACNielsen trade presentation May 2005
Circulation: 20,750
Australian Convenience Store News now has around twice the circulation of
its nearest competitors and provides advertisers with more accurate
distribution than any comparable trade magazine.
Figures below show circulation from September 2005, to be confirmed by CAB
audit.

GST of 10%. Frequency discounts apply
to placements made on a single booking. Advertising in the ACNeilsen
Convenience Report in May 2006 is billed at Front Section rates.
