In historic Balmain, less than a kilometre away but well within earshot of the Rozelle Convenience Store explosion, a local wine shop has gone into the milk business. Sitting below Unity Hall, where the Australian Labor Party was founded the day before the very first meeting of the new Australian Parliament, the Balmain Wine Shop is sporting this footpath sign spotted by C&I WEEK advertising milk. Now if only convenience stores could follow suit and sell liquor.
