Spar Australia has opened a new store in Jandowae in Queensland.
The purpose built store offers fresh produce, straight from the markets and local farmers, plus a strong deli offering. In addition to this, there is a substantial grocery, dairy, and frozen offering.
“The local community did not have a strong fresh offering so we have focused on produce and using existing fresh offerings in the community,” Store Owner, Nick Holman, said.
Holman and his family hope the local community will support their new business, just as they plan to support the community.
“Local community is very important to me and supporting the town and the shire. When established we want to support the local horse community and football clubs.”
Spar Jandowae is now open at 61-67 High Street, in Jandowae. The new store is open seven days a week, from 7am to 7pm Mondays to Fridays, and 8am to 5pm on Saturdays and 8am to 4pm on Sundays.
There are now more than 12,300 Spar stores in more than 40 countries.
