7-Eleven, Active Display win at POPAI Awards

7-Eleven Australia and its POS supplier Active Display have won awards at the at the 2017 POPAI Awards held recently.

The POPAI Awards recognise best practice, innovation and excellence in marketing at a retail level.

7-Eleven and Active Display won their awards in the ‘Physical Display: Petrol, Convenience & Route, Temporary Display’ category, winning gold for ‘Share the Love Krispy Kreme with Nutella’, and silver for ‘Slurpee BYO Cup Day’.

7-Eleven Head of Marketing Julie Laycock said the award wins were a great recognition of the hard work and collaboration from the 7-Eleven and Active Display teams to create fun, engaging displays in 7-Eleven’s stores.

“We want our store displays to bring to life the fun, engaging promotional campaigns we deliver in our stores. Both Share the Love – Krispy Kreme with Nutella and our famous BYO Cup Day are great opportunities for our teams and customers to have fun in-store,” she said.

“The fantastic point of sale developed by our team with Active Display really helps to create excitement in store around our promotions.

“Active Display are a long-standing supplier of 7-Eleven fulfilling all our POS production, printing warehousing, and distribution needs. Since 2001, Active Display has racked up more than 130 POPAI awards including an award for 7-Eleven’s very own Slurpee Dump Bin.

“They continue to provide 7-Eleven with the very best of quality product and services, a testament to that is our account manager, Luke Goulding who was recognised as the Account Manager of the Year at our 7-Eleven Supplier Awards event in 2017.”
