Over The Moo launches gluten free cookies and cream ice cream

Rising Aussie coconut milk ice cream start-up, Over The Moo, has launched Australia’s first dairy free and gluten free cookies and cream ice cream.

Founder Alexander Houseman said the release is another iteration of Over The Moo’s mission to bring indulgence to the ‘free from’ ice cream category.

“We know that like lactose intolerant folks, our coeliac friends are often left out in the cold with gluten-free options that are chalky and frankly unappetising. Our new Dream Team Cookies ‘N Cream is a classic take on the flavour: creamy vanilla ice cream with choc cookies crammed all the way through. It hits the spot.”

Over The Moo have also launched their take on the classic mint chip with Mint To Be: mint ice cream oozing with choc ripple and choc chips.

Mr Houseman said: “We’re pumped to be adding to our range with flavours that are decadent, indulgent and packed with crunchy and gooey inclusions. Over The Moo is pushing the envelope flavour-wise but ensuring our products remain totally dairy free, gluten free and vegan.”

Dream Team Cookies N Cream and Mint To Be will be available in 500mL tubs at selected Woolworths stores nationally from 19th February.

They are expected to retail at $10.00.

Other flavours of Over The Moo can be found in selected IGA’s, health food stores, vegan shops and independent supermarkets.
