American invention ‘Slice of Sauce’

A Kickstarter campaign is raising money to fund a new and unusual invention similar to Kraft Cheese Singles- a slice of tomato sauce.

The business has worked out a way to essentially dehydrate tomato sauce, into a slice form for a no-mess eating experience.

The campaign website states the product as an “all natural, no mess and flavour packed product that will revolutionise the sauce industry”.

“Slice of Sauce transforms the traditional condiment aisle with individual “slices” of Signature Recipe Ketchup in a convenient and portable package of 8 portions,” the website states.

“Layer it on to your burgers, sandwiches, wraps and more for a delicious burst of flavour and a perfect no-mess bite every time.”

The result of the process produces a condiment that offers “no sticky mess or soggy bread, no “liquidy” separation and no uneven squeezing from a part-empty bottle…”.

Currently, the Kickstarter campaign is only open to American and Canadian backers, but hopefully, we’ll see the slices shipped over to Australia in no time at all.
