Syndicate charged over theft

A syndicate that allegedly stole from supermarkets and re-sold the goods through convenience store has faced court.

Seven people were charged over their involvement, with police alleging the property was stolen from supermarkets and resold in a convenience store in Darlinghurst, Nine News reported.

Police allegedly seized more than $100,000 worth of product including pharmaceuticals, vitamins, batteries, personal items, and confectionery.
