Arnott’s sold as part of $3.14 billion deal

US company Cambell’s Soup has reportedly sold iconic Australian company Arnott’s as part of Cambell’s sale of its international brands.

After owning the brand for 21 years, Cambell’s had flagged selling seeing the biscuit company.

The Australian Financial Review and The Australian newspapers reported that Campell’s had struck-up the deal overnight with another US company, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts.

The sale included Arnott’s and all Campbell’s soup sold in Australia.
