KitKat Gold wins C&I Choice of the Year

Kit Kat Gold

It’s gold by name and now gold by accolade as Nestle’s KitKat Gold Choc Whirl takes out C&I’s Choice of the Year award.

It’s a fitting win for the confection, which Nestle launched with an impressive pop-up installation that allowed customers to take one of the more than 8,000 bars from an edible wall to sample in a dedicated ‘break-zone’ in Sydney and Melbourne earlier this year.

This launch was also supported with a successful structured social media campaign and Nestle Australia’s CCSD Manager – Impulse Craig Deamer said it introduced new customers to the joy of KitKat.

“As a result the launch brought approximately 25% new or lapsed KitKat shoppers to the campaign within the first three months, in many cases supporting their purchase with an original milk KitKat so that they could compare the two flavours,” he said.
“In the weeks following launch the Limited Edition Convenience channel exclusive sharebar rapidly sold through,  amplifying social commentary.”
“The 2019 launch of Gold Choc Whirl continued the drive into Gold Chocolate with strong results for both the medium and sharebars.
As a direct result of consume support for KitKat Gold, the 45g Medium Bar & the 170g Block have  become part of the permanent KitKat Range.”

The flavour features the trademark crisp wafer fingers coated in white and milk chocolate swirls and a chocolate base.

It’s available as a 65g sharebare, 45g medium bar and 170g block.
