Dairy Farmers milk recalled on E-Coli fears

An urgent recall has been issued for Dairy Farmers 1L and 3L Full Cream milk in NSW amid fears they could be contaminated with E-Coli. 

The products affected include 1L bottles with a use by date of February 25 and 3L bottles with a use by date of February 24. 

Both products have been available through Coles, Woolworths, IGA and selected independent and convenience stores in NSW. 

No other Dairy Farmers products have been affected.

Customers who have purchased affected products should dispose of them or contact Lion Dairy & Drinks Consumer Enquiries Centre on 1800 677 852 for a full refund.

E-coli is a type of bacteria found in the gut of people and animals. Some strains cause illnesses such as diarrhoea, stomach pain, nausea and vomiting.
