Cadbury’s big change

Cadbury are set to make a lot of fans very happy this week, with the chocolate brand announcing the return of the beloved classic flavour Marble.
Marble will make its way back onto shelves from April 17, and while it will be the same great taste, it has a brand new look to debut.
Cadbury will be rolling out a new look for its iconic range of chocolate blocks, with Marble the first to get the fresh new look. The signature purple packaging will remain, but has been given a modern a makeover  featuring a redrawn wordmark, new iconography and typography which has taken inspiration from John Cadbury’s own handwriting.
The new look will launch in Australia this month before being rolled out in South Africa and Malaysia later this year.
Mondelez Australia director of chocolate marketing Paul Chatfield said it would bring some comfort, happiness and nostalgia to an uncertain time.
“John Cadbury believed in generosity and the special bonding of people – through a simple block of chocolate. It seems fitting that we’re launching the new Cadbury Dairy Milk
packaging to reflect this founding principle of generosity and authenticity at such a challenging time”, he said.
The new design is based on the original 1905 and keeps the ‘glass and a half’ logo and also shares details on Cadbury’s committment to sustainably sourced products and their work with the Cocoa Life sustainability program, that traines cocoa farmers to care for the environment and plants trees in cocoa regions.
