Reckitt Benckiser (RB) has announced Saurabh Jain as their new Marketing Director for Australia and New Zealand, as the company look to sustainability initiatives.

Saurabh will oversee RB’s ANZ consumer hygiene portfolio, which includes brands Pine O Cleen, Glen 20, Harpic, Easy-Off Bam, Mortein, Finish, Vanish, and Air Wick. He joins from the company’s global disinfection portfolio and has also previously held roles at ITC Limited and Amazon.

Speaking on the appointment, RB Hygiene ANZ General Manager Jerome Lemaire said Saurabh was chosen for his skill in driving marketing initiatives and will oversee the company’s purpose led campaigns around sustainability, including water scarcity, as well as germ-related illnesses.

“Consumers are demanding that brands ‘do more’ and at RB Hygiene, we believe we have a responsibility to affect change that delivers wider benefits to society and the environment. Each of our brands are purpose-led, seeking to drive lasting community support and impact,” Mr Lemaire said.

“These brand purposes drive everything we do – from the innovation and sustainability of our products to who we partner with. Saurabh will provide strong leadership for our talented marketing team as we strive to create a cleaner world.”
