7-Eleven recognised as AACS Retailer of the Year

7-Eleven Australia was recognised as Retailer of the Year for a third time at the recent annual Australian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS) Awards.

The award recognises the convenience retailer who has delivered excellent in-store experiences and offers for consumers, showed leadership in the industry, worked collaboratively with supplier partners to enable collective success.

AACS partner with CMA to utilise their best in class 360-degree benchmarking tool to evaluate retailers in all of the critical functions of their businesses.

Angus McKay, CEO and Managing Director at 7-Eleven, said the win is fantastic recognition for the hard work of his team from the company’s supplier partners.

“The team do an extraordinary job to deliver an offer to our customers that is market leading. They have a relentless focus on ensuring that our stores provide exceptional standards and service, while ensuring that we continually innovate.”

McKay said they are incredibly proud to be recognised by AACS and their suppliers and are thrilled to receive the award.
