Ampol Foodary raises funds for The Smith Family in May

Ampol’s Foodary retail network is fundraising for The Smith Family throughout May, with proceeds supporting the charity’s Learning for Life program.

The initiative helps disadvantaged young Australians by providing financial, personal and practical support to improve educational outcomes.

Kate Thomson, Executive General Manager, Retail Australia, said they are proud to once again raise crucial funds for The Smith Family across the Ampol Foodary retail network throughout May.

“Powering better journeys for those in need throughout the communities in which we operate is the mantra of the Ampol Foundation, and we’re pleased to play our part in making a difference for young Australians.

“I’d like to thank our retail convenience staff, suppliers and customers for their ongoing dedication and support of Ampol’s fundraising efforts.”

Doug Taylor, Chief Executive Officer of The Smith Family, said they are delighted that Ampol is once again supporting The Smith Family this year through its Foodary retail network.

“The Smith Family provides vital educational support to young Australians to overcome educational inequality caused by poverty. This gives students the opportunity to succeed in school, so they can thrive now and into the future.

“Every donation helps secure our core Learning for Life program and the long-term support of over 67,000 students experiencing disadvantage.”

Customers can support the campaign by donating in-store, online, or by purchasing selected products. These include Four’N Twenty Beef Traveller Pies, Connoisseur ice cream, Kettle and Smith’s chips, Gatorade, Reese’s and Mars bars, and Walkntalk Rugged items. A portion of each sale from participating products will be donated, thanks to supplier contributions.
