BP opens new site in Karaka to support growing community

BP has opened a new service station in Karaka, south of Auckland, located on State Highway 22 near the State Highway 1 interchange.

The new BP Connect Karaka offers fuel, a wildbean café, and a convenience store. It is positioned to serve the expanding local population, including the nearby Paerata Rise development, and commuters travelling through the area.

Lisa Archbold, Vice President Mobility and Convenience, Australia and New Zealand, at BP, said the site was re-developed from the ground up, and designed with its customers in mind.

“We know they are looking for convenience above all else, and our Wildbean café will offer them easy access to great food and barista coffee on their journeys.

“As the Karaka community grows, we want to provide locals with a convenient place to re-fuel, grab a snack and pick up a barista-made coffee.”

The site also supports digital payments through the BPme app and is part of BP’s Everyday Rewards loyalty program, allowing customers to earn points on purchases at the pump and in-store.

Located at 679–681 Karaka Road, the site adds to bp’s network of more than 200 service stations across New Zealand.
