Chevron has appointed Dean Gilbert as General Manager of International Fuels Sales – Australia, effective immediately.
Gilbert brings more than 30 years of commercial and leadership experience across Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, the United States and New Zealand.
Most recently, he served as General Manager of International Products, Southeast Asia, where he oversaw the commercial and retail sales and marketing of Caltex fuels and lubricants in Malaysia, Cambodia and Singapore.
Chevron said Gilbert has “demonstrated a strong track record in leading change, delivering performance and building great teams”.
The company confirmed that Tim Rankin will be leaving Chevron but will remain available to assist with the transition.
“Tim’s leadership and partnership have been pivotal to the growth of the Caltex brand in Australia, and he will work closely with Dean over the coming weeks to ensure a seamless transition and continuity in business operations,” Chevron said.
