bp Moorebank has selected Wayne Helix® 6000 II fuel and AdBlue® dispensers as part of a full site redevelopment led by Pump Group.
The site, which was formally a retail bulky goods site called Food Lover’s, has been transformed into a bright, colourful store that provides a unique customer experience with an extensive selection of food and drink, including Sydney’s Portuguese style chicken institution, Frango.
Nick Talevski, Managing Director of Pump Group, acquired the leasehold for the site from the Simonetta family, who previously operated Food Lover’s. The project marked Pump Group’s third service station and was designed to go “the extra mile” for customers.
Following positive results from a previous upgrade at their bp Yagoona site, Pump Group selected Wayne fuel dispensers again, citing their quieter operation, faster flow rates, and reduced maintenance requirements.
“Customers have been blown away by the new site. From start to finish, Paula Correa, DFS Regional Sales Manager and crew were fantastic to deal with. Paula was also present on day one of trading and I really respected that. Communication was always there, and it is always thorough throughout the entire project. Pump Group will definitely look to use DFS dispensers when the next service station project comes up,” said Talevski.
In-store, Talevski said they went pretty big on chilled snacks – salads, sushi, yoghurts, fresh fruit tubs etc – as well as Middle Eastern/European pastries and pies and sausage rolls baked on-site.
“We also have quite a large ‘healthy snacks’ category. A deli component has been incorporated within store, in honour of the previous business on the land. Barista Coffee is at the forefront of our offer with the store theme being around Pump Coffee Co, my personal brand founded in 2018.”
