Shell Energy Australia’s retail electricity business has been rated number one for large customer satisfaction for the 14th consecutive year in the independent Utility Market Intelligence (UMI) survey.
The survey, conducted by research firm NTF Group, found 90 per cent of Shell Energy’s customers were satisfied, placing the company ahead of competitors. Additionally, 86 per cent of customers said Shell Energy provided value for money, more than 22 per cent higher than the nearest competitor.
The results also highlighted an increase in sustainability initiatives among customers, with 61 per cent reporting a sustainability goal in 2024, up from 45 per cent in 2022.
Tony Keeling, Chief Executive Officer of Shell Energy Australia, attributed the company’s continued success to its focus on customer service and innovation.
“A lot has changed in the energy landscape in the past 14 years, but our commitment to service excellence for our customers hasn’t.
“Our number one ranking is backed by consistently getting the basics right and making it easier for customers through billing, price transparency, speed of response and dedicated account management, while at the same time, delivering innovation to help customers succeed in the energy transition.”
Shell Energy provides a range of energy solutions, including demand response, optimisation, multisite solutions, and platforms for energy tracking and renewable energy purchasing.
