TASCO supports R U OK? with breakfast events

TASCO Carriers has joined the national conversation around mental health in transport, taking part in the R U OK Day on 6 May 2025.

The initiative, led by Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds (HHTS) in partnership with R U OK?, is now in its fourth year and aims to encourage open conversations within the road transport, warehousing, and logistics industries.

This year’s theme, “Ask R U OK? – No qualifications needed”, reinforced the message that anyone can check in on a colleague or friend without being a trained professional.

TASCO depots across the country marked the occasion with staff breakfasts, bringing together drivers and depot employees to reflect on mental health and support one another.

During the gatherings, attendees heard personal stories from HHTS representatives and engaged in depot-organised activities. Each driver also received a TASCO Carriers pack featuring branded merchandise and R U OK? support resources.

“The number one thing managers and colleagues should do – take the time to get to know one another,” said Sarah, Linfox Distribution Centre Manager.

TASCO Carriers acknowledged and thanked its Depot Managers, drivers and staff for taking part and continuing important conversations around mental wellbeing in the workplace.
