Tyro launches Payment Links for online payments

Tyro’s new Payment Links feature allows merchants to create a payment link through their Tyro Portal and share it with customers.

Offering a flexible new way for Australian businesses to accept payments anytime, anywhere, merchants simply create the link and share it with customers via email, text, or messaging apps.

Jon Davey, CEO of Tyro, said the feature is designed with small business needs in mind.

“At Tyro, we understand that running a small business means being ready to accept payments wherever and whenever your customers are ready to pay – especially for those providing services on-the-go.

“That’s why we’ve launched Payment Links, a new enhancement to our online payments offering that provides a seamless, secure, and cost-effective payments method for small businesses.”

Payment Links offers several benefits, including quick setup, the ability to request and track payments from anywhere, and support for fast transactions. Payments can be made via Google Pay, Visa, and Mastercard, with more options to be added in the future.

The service is available to new Tyro merchants when they sign up for a Tyro EFTPOS product.
