Victoria’s largest PET plastic bottle recycling plant opens

A $50 million PET plastic bottle recycling plant has opened in Melbourne, coinciding with the start of Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme.

Australia’s largest PET recycling plant has opened with the capacity to recycle the equivalent of one billion PET beverage bottles per year.
