Sally Brown has just made the switch from pies and pastries to sandwiches, going from Mrs Mac’s as the National Business Manager- Convenience and Foodservice, to The Handmade Food Co. as General Manager- Sales & Marketing.
Ms Brown said since working with food at Mars Food, that she felt a connection with the Australian consumer and their love of food.
“The evolving convenience channel is seeing stores change to become a destination for consumers wanting great quality food,” she said.
“I have worked in food manufacturing for many years with a background at Mars Food prior to Mrs Mac’s. It felt like the natural fit for me to move into another family-owned business with a passion to provide consumers with busy lifestyles with a quality meal solution. I feel very proud to be working for a business that manufacturer in Australia and that buys local ingredients!
“I’m excited about being part of the leadership team of a great family owned business to steer future growth by delivering a clear vision in what is an exciting time in the food-to-go market.
