Ampol has launched a new fundraising campaign across its national retail network to raise funds for The Smith Family’s 2021 Winter Appeal.

The partnership will see Ampol raise money to support more than 12,000 vulnerable young Australians through raising funds at participating Ampol Foodary sites.

Throughout June and July, 10 cents from the sale of every $2 or $3 Foodary hot coffee will be donated to The Smith Family, and customers can also choose to donate at the register.

Joanne Taylor, Executive General Manager, Retail, Brand and Culture, said that the campaign delivers on Ampol’s commitment to making a positive impact in its local communities.

“Ampol is proud of the positive contribution we make in the communities we operate in. The Smith Family’s Winter Appeal is another great example of engaging our people and our customers to make a difference for those in need.

“As Australia’s own fuel and energy brand, it is our passion to support the lives of young Australians and partnering with The Smith Family to support the education of children experiencing disadvantage will drive long-lasting positive impact.”

Judy Barraclough, Acting CEO of The Smith Family, said that funds raised through the Ampol partnership would go towards extra educational support for young Australians.

Ampol will be supporting The Smith Family to raise funds for the Winter Appeal in more than 800 sites across Australia. At other Ampol selected sites, where the coffee offers or donation at check-out is not available, customers can scan a QR code and follow the prompts to donate direct to The Smith Family.
