The BP team has expressed their delight at being recognised as the Retailer of the Year at the annual AACS awards for the second consecutive year.
BP Australia general manager – retail, Amanda Woollard, told C&I the company was “thrilled” to recieve recognition at the Australasian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS) awards last week in Sydney.
“The AACS awards are one of the biggest and most significant national events in the Australian convenience store industry,” Woollard said.
“We were thrilled to be recognised with multiple awards, including the prestigious Retailer of the Year award, which is a back-to-back win for BP Australia.”
“I’m incredibly proud of our BP retail team. Day in day out the team are focused on delivering amazing customer service, working collaboratively with our supply partners to meet the needs of our customers and transform convenience which plays a critical role in setting us apart from our competitors. Despite a tough retail environment our strategy is working, which is testament to our team.”
“It was also really humbling to see our supply partners just as excited by these wins as we were. We’ve developed true partnerships, which I believe is a reflection of our collaborative ways of working and the fact we deliver on our commitments,” she said.
AACS CEO Jeff Rogut said, “The AACS Awards this year again highlights the exceptional quality of people and companies involved in our industry. We congratulate all our winners and finalists and look forward to doing this agin in 2020 when we celebrate 30 years of AACS.”
