BP launches new campaign in support of the McGrath Foundation

In partnership with the McGrath Foundation during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, BP has announced the launch of Australia’s Most Powerful Fuel as both organisations’ strive to raise vital funds to place another specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurse.

Australia’s Most Powerful Fuel will be rolled out across BP’s country-wide network of service stations during the first week of October (September 29 – October 9, 2016), with BP donating a portion of all fuel sales during that time to the McGrath Foundation.

Brooke Miller, VP sales and marketing, said: “Our support of the McGrath Foundation has been key in our business as we work together to raise vital funds for this extraordinary organisation. Over the course of our partnership over the last three years, we’ve raised more than $1 million to assist in placing McGrath Breast Care Nurses across the country.” bp-one

Australia’s Most Powerful Fuel puts the power in the hand of our customers, and provides Australians the opportunity to contribute through the simple act of filling up their vehicle,” Ms Miller said.

In addition to the donation campaign, BP and the McGrath Foundation will be hitting the road and travelling across the country, partnering McGrath Breast Care Nurses, celebrities and influencers to share their stories and continue drumming up support and raising vital funds for the foundation.

McGrath Foundation ambassador and director, Tracy Bevan, said: “The incredible work we’ve done in communities across Australia wouldn’t be possible without the support of our partners. BP continues with us on this journey and in an extension of its support, is offering all Australians a simple way to continue vital fundraising for those most at-need.”
