BP launches Ride or Drive competition

Fuel retailer BP is giving Australians the opportunity to win either a brand-new car or $15,000 in Uber credits with its BP Ride or Drive competition.

New members who sign up to BP Rewards before 7 April will have the chance to win either a 2021 Kia Picanto, valued at more than $17,980 or their very own chauffeur, by way of a $15,000 Uber credit.

BP is one of Australia’s leading premium fuel retailers with around 1,400 branded retail fuel sites across the country, of which approximately 350 are company-owned, and more than 1,000 are owned and operated by independent business partners.

BP Rewards members earn two points per litre on BP Ultimate 98 Unleaded petrol, one point per litre on all other fuel and one point for every dollar spent on eligible purchases in-store.

Members have the choice to earn either BP Points or Qantas Points when filling up or shopping at participating BP stores. Points can be redeemed as dollars off at BP, David Jones eGift Cards, or Qantas Points.

Leigh Taylor, General Manager, Brand and Communications at BP, said: “Members of the BP Rewards loyalty program have the flexibility to choose their rewards, so we wanted to offer the same choice – and raise the stakes a little – to the lucky winner of our Ride or Drive competition.

“While not everyone will walk away the winner of a new car or an enviable Uber credit, they will still be able to enjoy the benefits of joining the BP Rewards program, which offers a competitive frequent flyer earn rate on fuel,” she added.

To sweeten the deal, should the winner have their eyes on the Uber prize, they will also be able to spend their credit on Uber Eats.

For a chance to drive away with a brand-new Kia Picanto or $15,000 Uber credit, sign up to the BP Rewards program by visiting bprewards.com.au, or download the BPme app from IOS or Google Play.
