The makers of Grainwaves have launched a new product called Snack Crackers, which boast a range of unique ingredients and flavours.
Capitalising on health and wellness trends, Sunbites has turned to chickpea and quinoa for the base ingredients of the new Snack Crackers.
The wholegrain salty snacks are available in either chickpea or quinoa grain bases, and there are four flavours to choose from: Cheddar & Chives, Caramelised Onion & Balsamic, Smoked Paprika, and Lemon & Exotic Spice.
Sunbites marketing manager Susan Press said the new bite-sized crispbreads would offer shoppers more choice from the biscuit section.
“Through the combination of the wholegrain bases and a variety of flavours, Sunbites Snack Crackers will change the way Australians look at biscuits,” she said.
“Through the development of new products like Snack Crackers, the Sunbites brand is fast establishing itself as an innovator in the Australian snacking category, following the brand’s success in international markets like the UK.
“We can’t wait to continue this trend and share more exciting new products that Australians can enjoy throughout the rest of 2017.”
Snack Crackers are only available in one of the major supermarket chains at present, however Sunbites plans to make the product available to smaller stores “at a later date”.
Sunbites is owned by PepsiCo Australia and New Zealand.
