Introducing Cherry Flavoured FruChocs

Sunday, July 7 was World Chocolate Day, and to celebrate, Robern Menz, the owner of everyone’s favourite South Australian chocolate snack, released a brand-new variety – the Cherry flavoured FruChoc.

A cult favourite, Menz FruChocs is the number one choc bite product in South Australia, and has achieved National Trust Heritage status.
The combination of delicious cherry flavoured FruChoc centres with a rich dark chocolate coating is a partnership that is set to delight fans across the state. It comes after the successful launch of Strawberry Flavoured FruChocs last year, which offered an twist to the traditional apricot and peach centre.

World Chocolate Day is a global celebration encouraging chocolate-lovers to indulge in their favourite sweet treat. This year, South Australians can try something a little bit different, but from a company they know and trust.

Phil Sims, CEO of Robern Menz comments, “Last year, we ventured into new territory with Strawberry Flavoured FruChocs and saw how South Australians embraced the opportunity to try them. Dark chocolate and cherry flavour is a partnership made in heaven. We’ve had great feedback from our taste testers and can’t wait to share this new flavour combination with FruChocs fans this winter.”

The new Cherry flavoured treat is gluten free.

Cherry Flavoured FruChocs will be available in South Australia at the three FruChocs Shops, On-the-Run stores, independent retailers including Drakes, Foodland, IGA and Romeo’s, as well as some convenience stores. The chocolate snack is available in 150g bags for an RRP of $4.20.

  1. Tried it last night, it was amazing and better than traditional FruChocs. A friend of mine named Alex is highly addictive to FruChocs, he brought them yesterday and bring it to the office. We all four friends tried it and we all amused with the new rich flavour.
