Man charged following Mobil service station blaze

Detectives have charged a man following an investigation into a fire which destroyed a Mobil service station near Gundagai earlier this year.

Emergency services were called to the service station, which is located at 518 Coolac Rd, Coolac at about 10pm on Tuesday 5 September, with Fire and Rescue NSW managing to extinguish the blaze, but not before extensive damage to the property occurred.

Firefighters from the Rural Fire Service and Fire and Rescue NSW worked through the night and into Wednesday morning to bring the fire under control and no injuries were reported.
