Petrol in Perth is set to rise by more than 20 cents per litre.
Motorists have been advised that they should fill up on petrol while they can, before it reaches prices of 142.9 cents per litre, The West reported.
A report from FuelWatch found that for the week from 11 September 2017, to 17 September 2017, prices for both metro and regional ULP and diesel averages increased.
In a statement, FuelWatch said: “The average cost of unleaded petrol is set to increase by around 22 cents per litre to 138.6c, so FuelWatch is encouraging Perth drivers to fill up today to save money.”
“FuelWatch advises that on Tuesday, most Puma, Caltex Woolworths, 7-Eleven and Caltex sites are increasing their ULP price to 142.9c (an increase of between 27c and 29c). Most Coles Express sites are increasing their ULP price to 141.9c, most BP sites to 139.9c and most United sites to 139.7c.”
At the time of publication, the cheapest available WA ULP petrol is 109.9 cents per litre, according to FuelWatch.
