Smith’s announced as official snack of FIFA Women’s World Cup

Smith’s Snackfood Company has been announced as the official Australia and New Zealand snack of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.

As part of Frito-Lay North America’s relationship with FIFA, Smith’s has become a tournament sponsor of the World Cup, meaning Smith’s brands will be the only savoury snack options available to punters at stadiums and fan festivals.

Vandita Pandey, CMO of The Smith’s Snackfood Company, said globally they are committed to investing and celebrating women’s sport, and she is proud they are extending that support locally in Australia.

“Our snacks are known to bring people together and offer moments of fun, they go hand-in-hand with enjoying iconic sporting events, so we are delighted to be a tournament supporter of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023. As world-class women’s football takes centre stage in Australia, we are also excited to be supplying football fans with their favourite snacks and serving up our biggest-ever promotion.”

By purchasing any pack of Smith’s, Doritos or Twisties chips and entering online, fans can go into the draw to win thousands of prizes, including the official World Cup match ball, Adidas duffle bags, drink bottles, and caps.
