Stock Box to celebrate anniversary of first delivery

Stock Box on beltStock Box will celebrate the delivery of its first box 12 months ago this November, and during that time it has amassed a respectable 1300 registered retail members to the program. While the program is still in the early stages of development it has come a long way, and will finish the first year delivering around 4,000 boxes nationally to members across the Convenience and Newsagent channels. Inside these boxes members will have been exposed to over 40 new products, and the program will have been responsible for anywhere between 5% and 30% ranging of these lines within these businesses.

“I get concerned when I hear retailers, particularly regional retailers, expressing their frustrations over not being able to see what is new for their businesses. Equally, I share the same concern when I see growing statistics that say that 97% of product never makes it past the first 12 months, while at the same time consumer research indicates that more choice from their convenience experience is what is wanted. Stock Box is focused on addressing these issues on the back of a growing parcel delivery model” Mr Matthews went on to say.

While the first 12 months have been one of establishment, the next 12 months show no signs of slowing down, with plans for a doubling of membership and volumes, along with expansion into commercial contracts for selected partners and a possible 3rd channel.
