Sunbites launches campaign to thank delivery drivers

Sunbites has launched a new social campaign, #SunbitesSaysThanks, encouraging Australians to thank their local delivery driver for their impressive efforts during the pandemic.

Launching the campaign were popular TikTokers, including Glenn Paul and Tom Clout, who filmed themselves thanking drivers and gifting them with Sunbite snacks, while encouraging other Australians to do the same.

Kate Miller, Senior Brand Manager at Sunbites, said that Sunbites feel the time is right to recognise those who have been working hard over the past years, and by doing so they will hopefully inspire others to do the same.

“Our delivery drivers have tirelessly delivered food and goods to their fellow Aussies and unlike many of us, they don’t have the option to work from home. #SunbitesSaysThanks is a fun and easy way for Aussies to make a small, but meaningful impact on the day of one of Australia’s many essential workers.”

As part of the campaign, Sunbites enlisted the help of TV presenter Ksenija Lukich who took the Sunbites Snack Truck to delivery driver hotspots around Sydney and surprised waiting drivers with Sunbites wholegrain snacks to lift their spirits.

To take part in the #SunbitesSaysThanks challenge, simply click ‘Join this hashtag’ on the TikTok Hashtag Challenge homepage, upload a clip of yourself thanking a delivery driver, tag @SunbitesAu in the caption, and watch the likes roll in!
