Health food brand BFree has extended its Australian range, launching its gluten free Sweet Potato Wraps into Woolworths supermarkets.
The BFree range was founded in Ireland in 2011 and has since expanded globally with products available in Australia, Ireland, the United States, Norway and the United Kingdom.
BFree’s Sweet Potato Wraps contain only 95 calories per wrap and are free from allergens including soy, gluten, wheat, diary, egg, and nuts. The wraps are also high in fibre, vegan friendly with no added sugar.
BFree says its wraps do not crack when filled with ingredients– a feature which according to the brand sets it apart from others on the market.
BFree general manager, Alex Murphy, said the impetus for expanding the range in Australia has been driven in large measure by the growing demand for quality allergy tolerant and wheat free product that also taste good.
“Approximately one in 70 people suffer from Coeliac disease and we know a growing number of Australians are avoiding certain foods due to sensitivities and intolerances.
“All of our wraps in the BFree range are free from top named allergens including gluten, wheat, diary, egg, nuts and soy, contain no added sugar, are high in fibre and are less than 100 calories per serve – so they’re perfect for anyone who suffers from allergies, intolerances and food sensitivities.”
BFree’s range of wraps including multi-grain, sweet potato and quinoa varieties are available in the gluten free section at Woolworths and Safeway stores nationally.
