Weis partners with Weet-Bix to release Weis-Bix cereal

Unilever’s ice-cream brand Weis has partnered with Sanitarium’s Weet-Bix to create a limited-edition cereal – Weis-Bix Limited Edition Mango.

Available in the breakfast cereal aisle of Independent supermarkets, Coles, and Woolworths, the new cereal contains 83 per cent whole grain, is high in fibre, iron, and B Vitamins, and has a Weis inspired mango flavour.

Annie Lucchitti, Marketing Manager at Unilever Australia, said the ultimate summer fling is truly here this year.

“The combining of two delicious flavours in Weis bars & Weet-Bix brings a whole new level of deliciousness to Aussie mornings – we can’t think of a tastier way to start the day.  We’re thrilled to bring the Weis brand into more occasions in the day with the fruit that sings summer.”

Justin Watson, Managing Director of Asembl, the brand agency that organised the collaboration, said they know the cereal is going to be a guaranteed hit.

“The Weis Mango and Cream Bar is Unilever Australia’s top selling Weis bar – and has been since launching in 1959.  What else better to partner this proudly Australian made brand with than Australia’s No.1 breakfast cereal, Weet-Bix.”

  1. I love the Weis-bix I hope it stays on supermarket shelves forever. I don’t think o can go back to normal weatbix.
