Coles has recognised 15 suppliers across Australia in its 2021 Supplier Awards, including Mars Petcare and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners.
The awards celebrate Australian businesses that are excelling in sustainability, community, and health innovation.
Steve Cain, Coles CEO, commended the winners of their efforts to help feed the nation.
“Covid-19 has certainly proven to be tough on businesses around the country, but it is heartening to see examples of remarkable resilience and passion from suppliers who have continued to achieve amazing feats, despite the challenges.”
Winner of the Coles Sustainable Supplier of the Year Awards was Mars Petcare for its initiatives to reduce agriculture and land-use-based emissions, while supporting community initiatives such as The Lion’s Share: Animals Supporting Animals and Dine Hope Reef projects.
Winning the Coles Express Supplier of the Year Award was Coca-Cola Europacific Partners for its activations inspiring customers over the year including promotions for AFL, Christmas, and Movember which helped raise funds for men’s health.
Other winners included Mitolo Family Farms, Rivalea Australia, Manildra Group, PMFresh, H&H Asia, Henkel, Nestle, Cleanaway, Kimberly-Clark Australia, Carlton & United Breweries, Proctor and Gamble, Australian Garlic Producers, and Muscle Nation.
