Yoghurt just got a health boost, thanks to Farmers Union new ‘Plus’ range.
The Greek Style yoghurt range has four new products with targeted health benefits.
The range includes a Probiotic boosted yoghurt (additional to those naturally occurring in yoghurt), that boasts 1 billion probiotics per seve.
As well as a vitamin D yoghurt to support bone health, a protein focused product with 12g of protein per serve and a lactose free yoghurt.
Lion Dairy and Drinks marketing and innovation director Darryn Wallace said the new yoghurts followed extensive research into consumers attitudes.
“We’re seeing an increasing number of shoppers seeking out food items that contain no added sugar, are higher in protein, cater for their food intolerances and support good gut health through probiotics,” he said.
“Farmers Union Greek Style Yogurt has a loyal fan base and we’re committed to evolving our product range to cater to their unique well-being needs. We’re looking forward to seeing how these yogurts are received by our Farmers Union Greek Style Yogurt enthusiasts, as well as new consumers.”
The Plus 500g range are available nationally at Woolworths stores.
