As excitement builds for the 2023 C&I Expo, we take a look at the full line-up of speakers and exhibitors to help you plan your days.
The 2023 C&I Expo is held on 19-20 October at the ICC Sydney, showcasing best industry practices and cutting-edge innovation. Visitors will experience the latest in convenience products, services, and merchandising, as well as hear from some of the industry’s leading minds.
Day one kicks off with registration at 8am, before the start of the symposium at 9am where an impressive line-up of speakers will present on issues affecting the P&C industry, filled with insights and data, future trends, and innovations.
Speakers include Theo Foukkare, CEO of the Australian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS), Lou Jardin, Managing Director of SPAR Australia, Joanna Graham, Senior Manager of Convenience Trading ANZ at bp, Michael Brick, Partner and Managing Director of Meris Food Equipment, and Tushar Menon, Co-Founder and CEO of My Muscle Chef.
Following the symposium, the expo gets under way at 11am, providing retailers with the opportunity to meet and mingle with suppliers, which will help them discover new products and services that they can implement in their convenience businesses.
From 5-7pm, networking drinks will take place, with retailers and suppliers able to build on relationships made throughout the day.
Day two has another cracking lineup at the symposium, which commences at 10am, with Matt Dodson, General Manager of OOH at Patties Foods and Safa de Valois, Group Publisher at C&I Media, welcoming guests to a morning of insights and knowledge.
Speakers at day two’s symposium include Fred Harrison, CEO of Ritchies, Bonnie McCoy, General Manager of Customology, Adam Jacka, Marketing Area Lead – Brand, Communications and Loyalty at 7-Eleven, and keynote speaker Jack Beaumont, a French spy turned author and CEO.
A second day of networking and deal-making at the C&I Expo starts at 12pm, and runs until 4pm, when the winner of the $50,000 stock giveaway will be announced.
The giveaway is open to independent convenience, petrol, and grocery retailers, who simply need to attend the expo and be there for the draw for the chance to win big.
