Coca-Cola Amatil appoints Caltex director to board

Coca-Cola Amatil has announced the appointment of Penelope Winn to the Amatil Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 2 December 2019.

Winn is currently a Non-Executive Director of Caltex Australia Limited, CSR Limited, Goodman Limited and Goodman Funds Management Limited.

Winn will step down as Chair and Non-Executive Director of Port Waratah Coal Services on 12 December 2019.

Since 1987 Winn has held a range of Australian and international leadership roles in retail and FMCG.

Previous positions include Director of Group Retail Services at Woolworths, Executive General Manager, Merchandise and Logistics at Myer Holdings, responsibility for Strategy and Business Transformation at Asda (UK), and National Store Operations with Big W.

In welcoming Winn to the Amatil Board, the Amatil Chairman Ilana Atlas acknowledged her extensive experience in retail and FMCG, alongside her expertise in complex logistics and supply chains.

“Penny has worked with some of Amatil’s largest and most innovative customers, and has a detailed understanding of the complexities of distribution and supply on a local and international scale,” Atlas said.
