Jeff Rogut, the former CEO of the Australasian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS), is offering one on one strategy sessions for retailers in his new role with the Trusted Advisor Network.
Rogut was the AACS CEO for the last 10 years and has studied retail in the USA, UK, Japan, Korea and New Zealand.
He has almost 40 years of experience in retail, covering areas such as buying general management, marketing, education, and store management.
“The challenges in operating a retail business are numerous, but the rewards are great if you get it right,” says Rogut.
In his strategy sessions, which can be held in person or over Zoom, Rogut will teach retailers “how to develop your ideal business, delivering income, freedom, and scale”.
The goal of any business is to make money, and in his strategy sessions, Rogut will determine the amount of money retailers should be making for a business of their size. He will discuss strategies to make more money and identify areas of improvement.
He will discuss key challenges including staff management, training, and retention; product ranging and inventory analysis; building a customer experience and marketing solutions. He will also identify key opportunities within these areas.
