Nescafé and R U OK? partner to release limited-edition tin

Nescafé has entered into a three-year partnership with the charity R U OK?, releasing a limited-edition 1kg tin of Nescafé Blend 43.

The collaboration is designed to encourage Australians to check in with loved ones and colleagues over a cup of Nescafé coffee, with the new bold, yellow tin designed to prompt important conversations in the workplace.

Kristina Czepl, General Manager of Nestlé Professional, said through the partnership with the health promotion charity they want to inspire people to use the moments of connection to ask the question ‘are you OK?’ and start a meaningful conversation that could change a life.

“Whether it’s in the office kitchen, staff breakroom or facilities site, Nestlé Professional has a legacy of bringing Aussie workers together over a cup of Nescafé Blend 43 coffee.”

Katherine Newton, CEO of R U OK?, said they are grateful for having Nestlé on board as the official ‘cuppa’ partner.

“We know the positive impact an R U OK? conversation can have when people know and trust each other. This usually means that trust has been built over time, they’re familiar with each other’s routines and behaviours, and they likely know what’s going on in each other’s lives.”

The R U OK? Day 2023 message ‘I’m here, to hear’, highlights the important role that meaningful conversations play both at home and in the workplace to support the health and wellbeing of people we care about.

The limited-edition tins, which feature a QR code that guides Australians to free resources on how and when to ask ‘are you OK?’, are available to purchase from wholesale office and foodservice distributors, including Bidfood, NAFDA, Countrywide, PFD, Campbells, Winc, and Blackwoods for RRP $58.
