There’s another way to enjoy Australia’s love of Violet Crumble.
Robern Menz, the confectioner behind the chocolate covered honeycomb treat, has just released ‘The Dark Bag’, a 180g share bag of dark chocolate covered honeycomb bites.
It follows the much-hyped release last year of the dark chocolate 50g bar.
Robern Menz CEO Phil Sims said it was another exciting innovation for the Violet Crumble range.
“When we first started producing Violet Crumble here at our factory in Adelaide, a priority was to meet consumer demand to bring back the bag which had been off shelves for ten years. Since then, we’ve delivered a number of new formats – including Violet Crumble Nuggets and the new bunny snack, and the next logical step was to provide a dark bar and bag,” Mr Sims said.
“We’re very fortunate to make all our products here in Australia, and as an independent, family-owned company to have the agility and flexibility to create new ways for people to enjoy them.”
The new ‘Dark Bag’ is available in Coles supermarkets nationally and retails for $4.40. The 50g dark bar is available in Coles stores, Coles Express and IGA and Metcash. As well as in OTR, X Conveniene and AMPM stores in South Australia.
