The cancellation of this year’s Royal Adelaide Show due to the coronavirus was no doubt a huge disappointment to both South Australians and the companies who invested significantly in developing showbags for the event.
Luckily convenience, fast food and petrol retailer OTR has devised a way to salvage some much needed joy from the situation and help bring the showbags to the people.
OTR has teamed up with showbag supplier Bensons Trading to range a selection of chocolate, confectionary and novelty bags, which are available now across the OTR network. Including regional stores from Renmark to Port Augusta and Port Lincoln.
Among the bags on offer are Harry Potter, Pokemon card traders, Paw Patrol, L.O.L., Caramello Koalas and Warheads, set to delight fans of all ages.
OTR General Manager Operations said they were pleased to be able to bring some of the show’s magic to SA.
“Showbags are key part of the Royal Show experience and a great treat for everyone, young and old”, Mr Cotter said.
“Being a part of local communities in Adelaide and key regions throughout South Australia, OTR stores will make it convenient for people to buy their showbags and bring some of the joy of the Show back into their homes.
Novelty showbags RRP for $30 and confectionary bags from $5.
