PepsiCo has announced Wern-Yeun Tan as their new CEO of Asia Pacific, New Zealand and China (APAC), overseeing all of the company’s operations in the Asia Pacific.
Current CEO Ram Krishnan will take on a new role as Global Chief Commercial Officer, where he will accelerate growth and focus on scaling innovation, commerical and transformation capabilities.
Wern-Yeun has previously held high profile roles such as CEO of Walmart China and Managing Director of McDonald’s Taiwan and as a Principal at Boston Consulting Group. He will take over the PepsiCo role on June 15 and will be based out of Singapore.
PepsiCo CEO Ramon Laguarta said the company were keen to utilise Wern-Yeun’s talents during this challenging period.
