Peters’ plant-based ice-cream recalled for containing milk

Peters Ice Cream is conducting a recall of its Peters Ice Cream-Connoisseur Plant-Based Hazelnut Chocolate 1L tubs due to an undeclared allergen.

The plant-based ice cream, which is available for sale nationally in convenience stores, independent grocery stores, Woolworths, IGA, Coles, and other food retailers, is being recalled across the country for containing an undeclared allergen – milk.

The contaminated batches are marked with a best-before date of 3 October 2025, and consumers with a milk allergy or intolerance are being warned not to consume the product for fear of having an adverse reaction.

Those who have purchased the product can return the empty tub to the place of purchase for a full refund.
