Teenage twins launch water brand to support motorsport career

Adam and Pierce Rathbone, 16-year-old twins, have launched their own water brand to financially support their grassroots APR Racing Team.

Given the team’s limited funding, the twins decided to take an entrepreneurial approach to generate revenue.

They researched private label water suppliers and found a Queensland-based supplier that met their criteria of bottling at the source, devoid of chemicals, ozone, and chlorine, and packaging the water in BPA-free bottles.

The brand has already received orders from various IGAs, cafes, and take-away restaurants, demonstrating promising early signs of success.

The Rathbone twins’ love for competitive motorsport began at the young age of 10, and over the years, they have accomplished several feats, including forming a formidable team in endurance racing, competing for up to 16 hours in a go-kart and 24 hours in a car.

They have now been chosen as the Penrite Ambassadors for 2023 and Ambassadors for Bowden’s Own Australian Car Care Products, with the ultimate goal of representing Australia at the World 24-hour Endurance Kart Race scheduled for December.

The water comes in 600mL bottles and has an RRP of $2.50.
