Australia’s Top 1000 Australian companies have been identified in a IBISWorld Special Report.
The report shows that during 2014, average revenue growth across all Top 1000 companies was 7.5%, down from 14.6% on the previous year. Grocery giant Woolworths placed second on the list behind resources behemoth BHP Billiton.
Woolworths moved from fourth position on the previous year’s list with Total Revenue for the period at $61,212.60 million up 3.8% and a Net Profit After Tax of $2,451.70 million (up 8.5%).
