Mars Bar lovers in Australia will be the first in the world to taste a brand new flavour innovation, Salted Caramel with Honeycomb.

Featuring light and fluffy honeycomb flavoured nougat that is smothered in creamy salted caramel and then dunked in thick milk chocolate, this new Mars Bar is the perfect balance of sweet and salty.

The flavour has been developed locally by Mars Wrigley’s Research and Development Team and proudly made in Ballarat, the home of the company’s chocolate innovation.

As with all Mars Bars, the new flavour uses 100 per cent Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa.

This is the latest in a flurry of new products that have come after the company announced a $30m investment in its Ballarat factory last year.

Earlier this month, the team announced the launch of a global first M&M’s innovation, M&M’s Crunchy Honeycomb. And in June, they debuted another global first, Maltesers Caramel flavour, and Skittles Slushie, inspired by the nostalgic drink of the Aussie summer.

Mars Bar Salted Caramel with Honeycomb will be available from 7-Eleven stores nationwide from 27 July, before rolling out to all major supermarkets and retailers from mid-August.

RRP $1.95 for a medium bar and $2.29 for a large bar.
