Pure Foods Tasmania increases distribution in South Australia

Pure Foods Tasmania (PFT) has strengthened its partnership with Monde Nissin Australia (MNA) with the addition of four Woodbridge Smokehouse products to be distributed in the South Australian independent market.

The Woodbridge Smokehouse products being added to the MNA portfolio by the end of October are the Tasmanian Cold Smoked Ocean Trout in 100g and 200g as well as the Tasmanian Cold Smoked Atlantic Salmon in the 100g and 200g.

PFT has had a long-established relationship with MNA servicing the independent retail market in Victoria, NSW, South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland with the Tasmanian Pate range.

Michael Cooper, PFT Managing Director, said they look forward to continuing to grow and develop premium ‘better for you’ food and beverage brands.

PFT was formed in 2015 with the aim to acquire, grow and develop premium food businesses in Tasmania. To date and in line with this strategy, PFT has acquired three businesses: Tasmanian Pate, Woodbridge Smokehouse (smoked salmon and trout) and Daly Potato Co (salads and meal solutions).

“Since our listing on the ASX in April, there has been a lot of really good progress made as we deliver on our strategy. We are very excited about the strengthening of our relationship with MNA. They are a very professional company with extremely strong customer relationships covering the Australian FMCG network.”

In Australia, MNA owns many brands including Black Swan, Nudie, Wattle Bay and Peckish, along with Menora distribution.
